As the Founder of 'HR Beat' , my aim is to focus on the 'heartbeat' of every business - it's people resources.
As an HR practitioner and generalist for almost 20 years, I always offer a hands-on, lateral-thinking and dynamic strategic-thinking approach. My passion for people and the desire to see any organisation succeed through the effective use of their staff, is fundamental to how I operate.
My experience in a variety of industries, including hospitality and tourism, manufacturing, financial services and property, coupled with my international exposure, while also dealing with local small businesses, is of value to any organisation.
I communicate at all levels, and much of my work includes applying specific operational staff requirements necessary for an organisation to function effectively, while creating any organisational structure changes essential for the business to operate to its maximum potential.
I will also assist you with all your disciplinary and IR issues and also deal with all of the statutory bodies, Bargaining Council and Unions; and I have a sound knowledge and understanding of the BCEA, BBBEE and EE requirements.
Together with creating performance and evaluation tools, I have designed training programmes in conjunction with the University of Stellenbosch and Cambridge University Judge Business Schools, and have assisted a large number of small business owners in managing their staffing challenges.
Applying a holistic approach and understanding to all aspects of the business is critical to any HR professional and I believe that I bring this uniqueness to any business table.
